Pust is our proposal for a pavilion at the Copenhagen Architecture Biennale 2025. Conceptually, the pavilion is rooted in three core ideas - slowing down, flexibility, and recycling. The concept of slowing down is expressed through the spatial rhythm. By encouraging moments of pause and self-reflection, Pust challenges the fast-paced nature of modern life. Flexibility is central to the design’s adaptability. The pavilion can accommodate a range of activities, from exhibitions and talks to quiet retreats and informal gatherings. Its modular construction allows for reconfiguration, making it responsive to the needs of different users and events throughout the biennale. The principle of recycling is evident in the choice of materials, which include repurposed wood and textiles sourced from old boat sails.
